BOISE, Idaho - Nine NCAA Tournament teams from a season ago feature on Boise State softball's 2015 schedule, which head coach Cindy Ball released Thursday.

Among those nine postseason squads are NCAA Super Regional participants UCLA (Feb. 15 in Las Vegas), Minnesota (Feb. 20 and 21 in Tempe) and Nebraska (March 13 in Fullerton). Making up the remaining six NCAA Tournament teams on the Bronco slate are defending Mountain West champs San Diego State (March 27-29 in Boise), Texas Southern (Feb. 6 and 7 in Dallas), Long Beach State (Feb. 13 in Las Vegas), Arizona State (Feb. 20 in Tempe), Charleston Southern and DePaul (both on March 14 in Fullerton).

"We are excited about our schedule for the upcoming season and look forward to the challenges it will bring," said Ball, who is entering her debut season as Boise State head coach in 2015. "We have a strong corps of returners and a hungry group of newcomers that are preparing for the opportunity to take on many of the nation's best teams."

The Bronco slate also features 16 home contests at Dona Larsen Park, including four three-game sets in Mountain West play. Boise State went 16-6 at home last year and this season will host San Diego State (March 27-29), Nevada (April 10-12), Colorado State (April 24-26) and Utah State (May 7-9).

The team will also host one non-conference tournament March 6-8 at Dona Larsen Park, with games against Weber State on March 6 and 8 sandwiching a Saturday doubleheader against Saint Mary's (1 p.m.) and Montana (3:30 p.m.) on March 7.

Boise State opens the new season at the North Texas Tournament in Dallas on Feb. 6, taking on Seton Hall (9 a.m. MT) and Texas Southern (1:30 p.m. MT). After one more game against Texas Southern, the Broncos end the weekend with two games against host North Texas.

The non-conference season continues at the Easton Classic in Las Vegas from Feb. 13-15, where the Broncos will face Cal State Fullerton, Long Beach State, Seattle University, Portland State and UCLA, then to the desert of Tempe for the Diamond Devil Invitational from Feb. 20-22 where the Broncos will face Minnesota twice in addition to host Arizona State, New Mexico State and Indiana State.

The first of two trips to Southern California features Boise State taking on Wichita State, Seattle University, Portland State and Weber State at the Long Beach Louisville Slugger Invitational from Feb. 26-27, followed by a 3:30 p.m. MT getaway game at Cal State Fullerton on Feb. 28. Following the home tournament in Boise, the Broncos return to Fullerton for their final non-conference weekend from March 13-14, facing the host Titans, Nebraska, Charleston Southern and DePaul. The non-conference slate ends March 15 with a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. MT at Cal State Bakersfield.

Boise State's final 24 games make up the 2015 Mountain West season. Last year the Broncos entered the final weekend of the campaign atop the table by a game before a three-game sweep at San Diego State dashed postseason hopes, dropping the team to fourth with a 14-10 mark.

In addition to the aforementioned home sets, the Broncos will open MW play on the road at San Jose State from March 20-22. Additional conference trips include a midweek excursion to UNLV (April 7-8), Fresno State (April 17-19) and New Mexico (May 1-3).

The 2015 NCAA Tournament field of 64 will be announced Sunday, May 10, with NCAA Regional action opening May 14 at campus sites.
