Bronco Softball Releases Fall Schedule

BOISE, Idaho-Boise State softball will play eight games during its nonchampionship schedule in the fall. The Broncos host six games at Mountain Cove Softball Field, including a Sept. 21, meeting with perennial power Washington.

The fall season begins Saturday, Sept. 17, with a doubleheader against College of Southern Idaho at Mountain Cove. The games start at 11 a.m.

Washington comes to town the following Wednesday for one game scheduled to start at 3 p.m. The Broncos dropped a 4-1 decision to the No. 4 Huskies at the Judi Garman Classic in Fullerton, Calif., March 19, in the first regular-season meeting between the schools.

The Broncos will host Northwest Nazarene Sept. 23 (4 p.m.) in conjunction with their Fall Prospect Camp.

Boise State makes its only road trip of the fall season Oct. 2, for two games at College of Idaho. The Broncos will take on Walla Walla Community College (noon) and the host Coyotes (2 p.m.).

The schedule concludes the following Sunday (Oct. 9) when the Broncos host College of Idaho (10 a.m.) and Eastern Oregon (2 p.m.). The two visiting schools will play each other at Mountain Cove at noon.
