BOISE, Idaho - Head coach Erin Thorpe has announced that the Boise State University women's softball team will hold an open tryout on Aug. 23 from 2:00 p.m. - 5 p.m. The tryouts for interested students will be held at Mountain Cove Softball Field (911 Mountain Cove Road).
In order to tryout, all interested students must bring the form linked on this page as well as copy of their insurance card and a proof of a physical exam in the last six months.
The tryout will is only for current Boise State students with remaining NCAA eligibility and will consist of offensive, defensive and base running drills (Sliding). Students are required to provide all of the necessary gear involved with the tryout.

Any student-athlete who is asked to remain with the team through the fall will be asked to purchase SHIP insurance (every Boise State athlete must purchase this insurance) before joining the team. If you have primary insurance, it will run $787 a semester/ $1574 a year. If you do not have primary insurance, it will be an additional $285 a semester/ $570 a year.
