May 19, 2015

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State softball head coach Cindy Ball announced the signing of pitcher Paige Reimann (South Jordan, Utah/Salt Lake CC/Bingham HS) to a National Letter of Intent Tuesday.

Reimann spent the past two seasons playing for Salt Lake Community College, helping the Bruins to a 36-21 record and second-place finish in the Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) in 2014 before having her 2015 campaign cut short due to injury. She was 4-0 with a 2.21 ERA and 24 strikeouts over seven appearances (six starts) this past season before being sidelined. Salt Lake would end up going 48-9 and reaching the NJCAA Tournament.

In 2014 Reimann won 11 games and struck out 70 over 92.1 innings.

She enjoyed a decorated prep career at Bingham High School, earning Region Most Valuable Player honors in 2012 and 2013 then being named Utah's Class 5A MVP as a senior. That season Reimann went 23-4 with a 2.05 ERA in the circle while batting .424 with six home runs and 40 RBI at the plate to pace the Miners to a runner-up finish at the state tournament.

Reimann's senior campaign followed a junior season in which she went 16-1 in her debut as the Miner ace. Bingham captured the 5A state title during Reimann's freshman season.
