Boise State Softball Vaults into National Rankings

NASHVILLE, Tenn.-Boise State softball received three votes in the latest Ultimate College Softball Top 25 released Tuesday, tying for 31st in the poll. It is the first time the Broncos (29-15, 12-3) have received a vote in any of the three major college softball polls in the program's three years.

The national recognition comes on the heels of a sweep by Boise State at Hawai'i. The Broncos became the first team since 2005 to sweep the Rainbow Wahine in Honolulu.

Boise State will welcome No. 24 Fresno State to Mountain Cove Softball Field, April 29 and 30. It is the third-straight year the Broncos will host a top-25 team in a conference series. Boise State is 0-12 all-time against top-25 opponents.

The series with the Bulldogs is the 2011 home finale for the Broncos.
