EUGENE, Ore. - The Boise State softball team couldn't find a spark on Saturday with a 9-0 loss to Oregon. The Broncos (3-13) managed only one hit in the shortened game as they dropped their fourth consecutive game.

Jessi Hanna recorded the lone Bronco hit of the day in the top of the third, but was stranded at second base. The Ducks (15-5) didn't see any troubles at the plate as they pounded out three home runs in the run-rule victory.

Aubray Zell took the ball in the circle and breezed through the first inning. However, she hit a rough patch in the second as she gave up a solo homer to lead off the second inning. The Ducks gained a 1-0 lead and never looked back. Zell went three innings and gave up six runs (only three of which were earned) and recorded two strikeouts. Ashley Collier pitched the fourth inning and gave up a three-run homer but struck out one in the inning.

The Broncos take the field tomorrow at 10 a.m. (MT) against the North Dakota Fighting Sioux and take on the Ducks again at 2 p.m. in Eugene, Ore.
