About Lafayette
The Leopards have been able to play just four games this season as 11 have been canceled due to inclement weather. Lafayette won its first game of the season, Feb. 22, before dropping one later that day and two more Feb. 23, at the Longwood Spring Classic. That is the last time the team was able to take the field for a game, having seven contests washed out since. Melissa Robinson has been the most effective pitcher in teh early going, tossing a complete game in each of her two starts. Robinson has a 1-1 record and a 2.33 ERA in her 15 innings, but has struck out just one against six walks. In a small sample size, Kristy Marinelli and Victoria Vergona have been the most productive at the plate. Marinelli has four hits and two RBI. Vergona is 2-for-6 with a home run and a triple.
All-Time Series: First Meeting.

Madison Resley paces the Thunderbirds in virtually every offensive category. Resley is hitting .476 with 20 hits, including three home runs, and 14 RBI. Sophomores Kelli Hales and Kylee Wolf were All-Big Sky honorees last season, while senior pitcher Ariel Hart was last year's Big Sky Newcomer of the Year.
