BOISE, Idaho - Three-time Olympic gold medalist Lori Harrigan will be making a trip to Boise as the keynote speaker in the Boise State softball team’s first annual First Pitch Banquet held on March 5 in the Stuekle Sky Center. The banquet will include a dinner and silent and live auction. Head coach Erin Thorpe invites all of the Boise community to come meet the team as well as Harrigan on Mar. 5 at 5:30 p.m.

Harrigan won the Olympic gold medal for the U.S. in the 1996, 2000 and 2004 Olympics. She also became the first U.S. Olympian to throw a perfect game in a 2-0 victory over Canada in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. Her perfect game is one of only two no-hitters in the U.S. Olympic softball history.

In addition to Harrigan, all attendees will have a chance to meet the newest program in Bronco Nation. All three coaches and 17 players will be in attendance at the banquet. Entrance into the event is $25 and all interested in attending should RSVP by Feb. 25.
