LAS VEGAS - Boise State remained perfect in conference series finales Sunday, capitalizing on seven UNLV errors to beat the Rebels, 6-1, and capture the weekend series in Las Vegas.

The Broncos (24-12, 6-6 MW) head right back out on the road this coming weekend, traveling to San Jose State for a three-game set from Thursday-Saturday.

Sunday, seven UNLV errors led to five unearned runs for Boise State, which opened up its lead with two runs in the first inning. It started with an error at first by Alyssa Navarro which allowed Izzy Serrano to reach base and advance to second, and Kora Wade, who led off the game with a walk, to reach third. Rebekah Cervantes and Makenzie Sullivan followed with sacrifice flies to bring in Wade and Serrano, respectively, and the Broncos were out to a quick 2-0 lead.

UNLV (20-17, 3-6 MW) got its only run of the contest in the second, on Chrissi Omalza's sacrifice fly which scored Jadelyn Yadao-Valdez.

Another Rebel error in the fourth allowed Cassidy Edwards to reach base, and she came around two batters later on Morgan Lamb's RBI single. The Broncos added another run to make it 4-1 thanks to another error in the sixth, as shortstop Karly Bunderson's miscue allowed Karlie Johnson to reach base with two away, and Johnson scored two batters later on Wade's base hit.

Fielding errors allowed Sullivan and Edwards to reach base for the Broncos in the seventh, and a third error, this one again on Bunderson, allowed the pair to score on Tatiana Sorokina's fielder's choice to make it 6-1.

Christina Washington improved to 13-5 on the year for Boise State, allowing just one run on seven hits as she went the distance. For UNLV, Breana Burke fell to 2-1, giving up three unearned runs on three hits over three and a third innings. Morgan Ettinger went the final three and two-third innings, allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks.

Sorokina and Wade each had a pair of hits for the Broncos, with Sorokina driving in a pair of runs. Brianna Gatlin and Justine Federe each had a pair of hits to lead the Rebels.
