CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. -

Boise State got 10 hits but could only muster three runs in a 10-3 loss to Cal State Fullerton Saturday night, at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic in Cathedral City, Calif.

Tara Glover was 3-for-4 with a steal and a run scored. Glover came around to score in the first inning after singling and stealing second. Mackenzie Whyte drove her in and later scored in the first inning herself thanks to Devon Bridges as the Broncos (6-8) took an early lead.
 
They added to the advantage with another run in the second.
 
From there it was all Fullerton. The Titans scored six runs in the third and four runs in the sixth to open a big lead.
 
Rebecca Patton took the loss in five and a third innings pitched, allowing eight runs (two earned) on eight hits and one walk. Patton struck out five.
 
Whyte was 2-for-4, the only other Bronco with a multi-hit day.
 
Boise State closes its stay at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic Sunday, at 11 a.m. (PT) against nationally-ranked Nebraska.
