HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Canyon del Oro High School in Tucson, Ariz....four-year starter, has helped lead the Dorados to two state championships (2011 and 2012), a state finals appearance (2014) and three district titles...named to All-Southern Arizona First Team as a senior (2014) after hitting .433 with 10 home runs, 55 hits and 58 RBI...named the Region Player of the Year, first-team all-state and first-team all-Arizona for all divisions as a junior (2013)...batted .467 with 57 hits, 51 runs scored, nine doubles, four triples and school-record figures of 13 home runs and 63 RBI...was named all-state honorable mention and second-team all-region as a sophomore (2012) after hitting .511 with seven home runs...played outfield as a freshman before moving to the corner infield positions.
