Boise State vs New Mexico Game 3 Highlights

Senior MacKenzie Whyte hit a walk-off home run in the seventh inning to cap an emotional Senior Day Sunday, at Dona Larsen Park and give the Broncos a 5-4 win against New Mexico. With the sweep, the Broncos move into a first-place tie in the Mountain West.


Boise State vs San Jose State Game 3 Highlights

Boise State defeated San Jose State 7-6 in walk-off fashion Saturday, April 19, to claim the series. Brittany McCray's two-run home run in the seventh inning tied the game before Tara Glover's double drove in the game-winning run. Ashley Palmer tied the school record with four hits, going 4-for-4.

San Jose State scored six runs in the sixth inning on its way to an 11-5 win against Boise State, evening the conference series. Tara Glover had three hits and Lindsey Nicholson added two more plus a spectacular defensive play.


Boise State vs. San Jose State Game 1 Highlights

Boise State jumped out to a 5-1 lead after the first inning and used a sixth-inning home run from Jordan Kreiger to weather a late storm and hang on 7-6 against San Jose State Thursday, in the series opener. Rebecca Patton earned her 19th win in complete-game fashion. Ashley Palmer also homered for the Broncos.


Boise State vs UNLV Game 2 Highlights

Boise State scored six unanswered runs and got five innings of shutout relief from Rebecca Patton to defeat UNLV 8-7, Saturday and tie the series.

JUNIOR (2014): Made 19 appearances with four starts, batted .231 with a double, home run and seven RBI...shoulder injury ended her season with her last appearance being March 13 at Cal State Fullerton...singled in win over Texas Southern (Feb. 7)â?¦had RBI, pinch-hit singles against Seattle University and Portland State (Feb. 14)...drove in a run with a sacrifice fly against Indiana State (Feb. 22)...made two pinch-hit appearances on Feb. 27, first hitting a three-run homer against Portland State, then getting an RBI double against Weber State.

SOPHOMORE (2014): Appeared in 50 games, making 49 starts...39 starts came at first base, the other 10 at designated player...batted .324, fourth-best average on the team, led team with seven home runs, 44 RBI and co-led the team with 14 doubles...second on the team in hits (48) and total bases (83)...went 2-for-4 with an RBi in season-opening win over Utah (Feb. 7)...homered and drove in a pair of runs in win over Chattanooga (Feb. 14)...drove in three runs in win over UTEP (Feb. 15)...hit a solo homer against Minnesota (Feb. 15), then followed with another in next game, a win over Utah Valley (Feb. 16)...went 2-for-3 with a double and four RBI in win over Oregon State (Feb. 20)...drove in two runs against both Valparaiso and Indiana (March 8)...doubled twice with an RBI against Southern Utah (March 16)...hit a solo homer in win over Fresno State (March 21)...went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in rubber-game win over Fresno State (March 23)...hit a two-run homer against UNLV (April 4)...doubled and drove in two runs the next day against the Rebels (April 5)...hit her seventh home run of the year in win over San Jose State (April 17)...went 4-for-4 with two doubles and two runs driven in in rubber-game win over the Spartans (April 19)...went 2-for-5 with three RBI in win over Utah State (April 22)...doubled and drove in a pair of runs to help complete sweep of Aggies (April 23)...doubled with three RBI in win over New Mexico (May 4).

FRESHMAN (2013): Appeared in 36 games with 29 starts, all at designated player...started season opener...batted .212 with 18 hits, including three doubles and three home runs...drove in nine runs and scored seven times...became first Bronco to hit a home run for her first-career hit with a two-run shot against Northwestern (Feb. 9); Sarah Barnes matched the feat two pitches later as the classmates went back-to-back...hit the first home run in Dona Larsen Park history in the bottom of the seventh inning to force extra innings against Utah State (March 15), came as part of lone multi-hit game of the year...hit a two-run double at San Diego (March 2)...scored twice in series finale at New Mexico (April 7)...saw time at first base in the late innings of two games...Academic All-MW.

HIGH SCHOOL: Two-year letterwinner at Desert Mountain under head coach Rick Sharp...NFCA All-America Second Team and All-West Region First Team as a senior...first Boise State incoming freshman with high school All-America honors...in final prep season broke school records for home runs (12) and RBI (61)...batted .461 with 53 hits in 34 games...guided Desert Mountain to a 25-9 record and second-consecutive runner-up finish in conference...first-team all-league, all-region and all-state...as a junior led Wolves to a 24-7 record and an appearance in the fourth round of the AIA 5A Division II State Tournament...hit .421 with 40 hits in 31 games (29 starts)...led team with six home runs and 42 RBI...8-1 as a pitcher with a 1.85 ERA and a .178 batting average against...tossed third no-hitter in school history...earned first-team all-league and all-region and second-team all-state honors...offensive MVP both seasons at Desert Mountain...lettered as a freshman and sophomore at Mountain Ridge High School under head coach Shane Hess...at Mountain Ridge hit .385 as a freshman with five home runs and had 29 RBI...also pitched to a 19-8 record with a 2.00 ERA and 165 strikeouts...named first-team all-league and all-region, and team offensive MVP...hit .350 and was 7-1 in the circle in 12 games during an abbreviated sophomore season...played travel ball with Hotshots Gold and coach Keith Householder for five years...bats and throws right...plans to study health science studies.
