Boise State's Erica Parks Named to TopDrawerSoccer's National Team of the Week

BOISE, Idaho (11/9/2009) - Boise State freshman Erica Parks has been named to TopDrawerSoccer’s National Team of the Week for the week ending November 8. The Nampa, Idaho, native led the Broncos to their first Western Athletic Conference championship over the weekend recording a goal in each of Boise State’s three wins. Parks recorded the game-winners in the Broncos’ 1-0 victory over Utah State in Friday’s semifinal round and in their 1-0 win over Nevada in the championship match on Sunday. In addition to being named to the all-tournament team, she was named the WAC Tournament Most Valuable Player for her outstanding performance. This is the first time that a Boise State soccer player has been recognized by one of the national soccer publications/websites.
