BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State women's soccer team (8-10-1) downed Idaho, 1-0 on senior day, Saturday. The match marked the Broncos' regular-season finale and was the final game for six seniors in front of a home crowd at the Boas Tennis and Soccer Complex.

After a scoreless first half, Boise State found a goal in the 70th minute from sophomore Ashley Hruby off an assist from Ebie Harris. Harris found Hruby on the left side, 12 yards from the goal, where she fired a shot over the keepers head to the back post for the game-winner. The goal was Hruby's second of the season.

The Broncos only needed one goal, as Liz Ruiz made five saves to keep the Vandals scoreless. The shutout was the fifth of the season for Boise State's all-time leader in wins (29).

Though the orange and blue had more possession throughout the game, Idaho put more pressure on the keeper, outshooting Boise State 14-10 and winning six corner kicks.

The Broncos will travel to the Mountain West Conference Tournament in Albuquerque, N.M. next week. Boise State will enter as a number five seed and face UNLV in the opening round, Wednesday at 3 p.m. The Rebels beat Boise State 5-0 in Las Vegas earlier this season.
