Clayton Scores Late to Notch Tie at UC Irvine
KT Clayton scored in the 75th minute to bring Boise State level with UC Irvine and the Broncos held on for a 1-1 tie Sunday, on the road. Clayton's goal was Boise State's first in more than 274 minutes of game action and helped snap a two-match losing streak. UC Irvine entered the day on--and extended--a five-match unbeaten streak with four wins, including a 2-1 victory Friday, against No. 19 Oklahoma.

ABOUT SEATTLE: The Redhawks are the three-time-defending WAC Champions and began the season with a 1-0 road win at Texas last weekend. All-Time Series: SU leads 3-2-0. The teams met four consecutive years from 2008-11, with each side winning twice including the Broncos earning a 2-0 win in 2010- Seattle's only previous trip to Boise. The Redhawks took the lead in the all-time series with a 2-1 overtime win in 2013.

ABOUT UC IRVINE: The Anteaters were picked to finish seventh in the Big West this season. UC Irvine opened the year with a pair of wins last weekend, defeating Fairfield 4-2 and Saint Mary's 2-0. All-Time Series: UCI leads 3-1-1. Boise State earned a dramatic tie on KT Clayont's 75th-minute goal in the last meeting in 2014. The Broncos' lone win of the series came in 1999, the only previous meeting in Boise.
