BOISE, Idaho (8-15-08) The Boise State soccer team will host a scrimmage with North Idaho College this Saturday at the Boas Tennis & Soccer Complex field. This will be the first time for Bronco fans to see the 10 returners and 16 new players on the Boise State roster for the 2008 campaign. Kick-off between the Broncos and Cardinals is scheduled for noon. They will play three 30-minute periods in the scrimmage rather than the typical two 45-minute halves.

Admission to the scrimmage is free and everyone is welcome to come out and watch the Broncos take on the Cardinals, then head to the football scrimmage later that evening at Bronco Stadium. This is the only scrimmage the soccer team will have as they prepare for the season opener next weekend.  Boise State opens the campaign next Friday, Aug. 22, at 5:00 p.m.  against Northwest Nazarene, followed by a second home match against Eastern Washington on Sunday, Aug. 24, at 1:00 p.m.  There are not many chances to catch the Broncos this season as they host only seven home games in 2008.
