BOISE, Idaho - Boise State women's soccer head coach Steve Lucas announced, Thursday, Dominique Banks of Cypress, Calif., signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Broncos. Banks is currently in her senior season as a defender/midfielder at Los Alamitos High School.

"Dominique is coming from a very successful club program and that is exciting," Lucas said. "We are looking forward to her coming in and we think she has the ability to contribute right away. I think she'll do a great job on our back line throughout her whole career as a Bronco."

Banks is a three-year starter at Los Alamitos under head coach Steve Soler where she was named All-Sunset League during her first three seasons and is a two-time All-CIF Southern Section Division I selection.

At the club level, Banks competes for Legends Breakaway in Newport Beach, Calif., under head coach Greg Baker. Banks helped Legends won the Far West Regional League Championship in 2010 as a starting defender.

"I chose Boise State University because it has everything I want in a college; nursing, soccer, out-of-state, great city with a college town environment and of course Boise State football," Banks said.
