BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State soccer team (4-5-1) rallied back from a goal down to finish in a 1-1 draw against Utah, Sunday.
Rebe Wolverton put away the team's equalizer in the 53rd minute on a thru-ball played by Lauren Hickok. After Wolverton got behind the Utah back line, she found herself one-on-one with the goalkeeper and calmly put the ball to the right side for her second goal of the season.
It was the second-consecutive game with point for Hickok, and was her second assist of the season.
Utah got on the board early after Ashton Hall powered through multiple Boise State defenders to take a shot from eight yards and find the back of the net.
Possession was evenly matched for most of the game, as both sides connected passes and waited for promising scoring opportunities.
Katy Oehring led the team with four shots including one from 25 yards out that skimmed over the crossbar before sinking into the top netting during the second overtime period.
The Broncos finished with a 16-13 shots advantage, but neither team could put many chances on frame as Utah had three shots on goal to Boise State's two.
Boise State will make a cross-country tip next weekend as it travels to the East Coast for a match against Navy, Friday and Pennsylvania, Sunday.
