BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State gymnastics team earned their highest pre-season ranking ever on Wednesday (Dec. 1) when they were voted No. 18 in the nation in the GymInfo 2011 Pre-Season Coaches' Poll. The poll is based on the votes from each of the coaches the NCAA Division I gymnastics institutions.

The pre-season ranking is the highest-ever by a Bronco gymnastics team after earning three No. 19 rankings, one No. 21 ranking and two No. 25 rankings since 1997.

On Jan. 15 the Broncos head to No. 21 Washington, then on Jan. 21 Boise State travels to No. 2 Alabama, backing up to the following weekend (Jan. 28) when they travel to No. 19 Arizona. On Mar. 4 the Broncos host No. 20 Southern Utah, while they also take on USU, SJUS and Illinois State (others receiving votes) during the season.
