Bronco Gymnastics Ranked No. 19 in GymInfo Pre-Season Coaches' Poll

BOISE, Idaho - Although there are a couple months between now and the 2010 Boise State gymnastics season, the Broncos are already keeping a close eye on where they stand compared to the top teams in the nation. The Broncos earned the No. 19 spot on the GymInfo 2010 Women's Gymnastics Pre-Season Coaches' Poll which was released Nov. 16.

Moving up one spot from their 2009 season finish of No. 20, the Broncos are the only Western Athletic Conference team to be ranked in the top-25. Southern Utah and San Jose State both finished in the "others receiving votes" section.

Currently only one of the ten teams that Boise State will face this season is also ranked in the top-25 with the University of Denver sitting just ahead of the Broncos at No. 17.

Georgia, who has won five-straight NCAA Championship titles, garnered the top spot in the pre-season poll with 13 first-place votes. Utah was ranked second with six first-place votes while Alabama earned eight votes. Florida and UCLA rounded out the first-place vote recipients with two votes apiece.
