Five Broncos Earn Scholastics All-American Honors

BOISE, Idaho – The National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women (NACGC/W) announced its 2013 Scholastic All-American award winners, naming five Boise State gymnasts to the list.

Seniors Erin Wippermann and Brittany Potvin-Green earned their fourth and second career honors, respectively, while freshmen Maddie Krentz, Molly McFarland and Marissa Wossner earned their first career honors.

Wippermann led the Broncos with a 3.95 GPA in health sciences, while Potvin-Green had a 3.86 in psychology. McFarland held a 3.71 in exercise science, Krentz a 3.69 in mechanical engineering and Wossner a 3.51 in exercise science.

Individually, student-athletes from all three NCAA divisions were recognized for attaining a year-long or cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Across all three divisions 525 student-athletes hit the 3.5 benchmark.
