14 Broncos Earn Academic Honors
Brooke Graham possesses the highest GPA on the team with a 3.97

LOGAN, Utah – The Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference announced the academic all-conference honorees Monday afternoon and 14 Boise State gymnastics athletes were named to the list. The Broncos recorded the second-most honorees in the conference, just one shy of Southern Utah (15).

The academic all-conference awards are the first for the MRGC after being officially recognized as a conference by the NCAA prior to the 2015 season. To be eligible for the award a student-athlete must have a 3.2 cumulative GPA and have appeared on the squad list for the 2015 season.

Sophomore Brooke Graham possesses the highest GPA on the team (3.97, Psychology), while freshmen Ann Stockwell (3.94, Exercise Science), Lianne Josbacher (3.93, Undeclared) and Alex Esmerian (3.9, Athletic Training) are close behind with GPA’s above 3.9.

The 10 other Boise State gymnasts to receive the MRGC recognition include; Mackenzie Bennion (3.38, Criminal Justice), Mary Frances Bir (3.85, Health Sciences), Sandra Collantes (3.61, Psychology), Maddie Krentz (3.61, Mechanical Engineering), Molly McFarland (3.76, Exercise Science), Diana Mejia (3.61, Health Sciences), Ciera Perkins (3.06, Communication), Paige Urquhart (3.85, Biology) Abby Webb (3.83, Biology) and Marissa Wossner (3.64, Exercise Science).

The 2015 MRGC Champions possess a team cumulative GPA of 3.56, with 12 athletes sporting a GPA of 3.6 or better.
