BOISE, Idaho - Boise State junior Hannah Redmon has punched her first career ticket to the NCAA National Collegiate Women's Gymnastics Championships slated for April 22-24 in Gainesville, Fla. The Bronco gymnast will become the fifth to ever represent the orange and blue of Boise State at the national event, competing as the first specialist ever from the university.

Redmon has qualified to compete on vault and floor exercise at the University of Florida's Stephen C. O'Connell Center and is scheduled to compete in the NCAA Semifinal 1, slated for 11 a.m. (MDT) on Thursday, April 22. She will compete on floor as the second individual competitor in Rotation 3, while also competing as the second individual gymnast on vault in Rotation 4 of the Semifinal 1.

The junior out of Sparks, Nev., won both the vault and floor exercise at the NCAA Regional meet on April 10 in Salt Lake City, qualifying for the national meet after winning the vault outright, and finishing in a seven-way tie for first-place on floor.

Redmon scored a 9.975 on vault and a 9.90 on floor in the NCAA Regional meet, scoring the highest vault score in the nation at any of the six NCAA Regional meets held on April 10. Redmon also led her team to the highest team vault score of any team out of the six regional meets, scoring a 49.575 to set a new school record on the event.

Four individuals will advance on each event from the Semifinal 1 and Semifinal 2 on Thursday (April 22) to the NCAA Individual Event Finals which will be held on Saturday, April 24 at 4 p.m. (MDT). In the team competition, three teams from each semifinal will advance to create the "Super Six" Team Final on Friday, April 23.
