The Broncos won the MRGC title last year at Denver with a score of 196.625. Boise State edged out Southern Utah (196.275) to win the event, giving co-head coaches Tina Bird and Neil Resnick their fifth conference championship (four in the WAC, one in the MRGC).

The last time Boise State won back-to-back titles was in 2008 and 2009, capturing two WAC championships. The program was independent in 2012, but also managed to pull in two WAC titles on the bookend years in 2011 and 2013.

STILL UNDEFEATED, BEST START IN SCHOOL HISTORY: With last week's two victories over Southern Utah and San Jose State, the Broncos maintained their perfect record and moved to 12-0. They are the only undefeated team in the country and they are off to the best start to a season in school history, surpassing the previous best in 1988 (11-0).

BYU: The Cougars' best score of the season came three weeks ago at Southern Utah (195.750), and they have since recorded two more scores - 195.550 and 195.400 -equal to or above 195.400. BYU is No. 31 in the country according to RQS (195.430).

Southern Utah: The Thunderbirds put up their second-highest score of the season last weekend competing at Taco Bell Arena, posting a 196.275. Southern Utah is No. 26 in the national rankings with an RQS of 195.840, giving them the second-highest national ranking for any team in the conference.

Utah State: The Aggies closed out the regular season last weekend with a 194.725 - 191.025 victory over Illinois-Chicago. No. 34 in the national RQS rankings, Utah State is 7-8 on the season including a 3-2 in MRGC competition.

LAST TIME OUT: The Broncos celebrated senior night by recording their highest team score in school history (197.325) last Friday at Taco Bell Arena, tallying two wins in their tri-meet over Southern Utah (196.275) and San Jose State (195.350).

Mackenzie Bennion and Ann Stockwell tied for the win on vault with 9.9s, Krystine Jacobsen won on bars by tying her own school record of 9.975, Shani Remme won on beam with a 9.9 and Sandra Collantes and Maddie Krentz tied for the win on floor with their 9.925s.

MRGC SPECIALIST OF THE WEEK: Collantes was named the MRGC Specialist of the Week for her performance this past weekend in the tri-meet against Southern Utah and San José State. Collantes earned a 9.925 on floor to tie for the event victory with teammate Maddie Krentz. The Lima, Peru native helped the Blue and Orange to a season-high 49.375 in the event.

No. 15 BRONCOS: Boise State dropped three spots in the national rankings despite recording their best score of the season (197.325). RQS is determined by taking the top six scores - three of which must be away meets, drop the high and average the remaining five. If the Broncos record a score in the neighborhood of the one from last week, they have a good chance of moving back up into the top 12.
