The Road To Nationals team rankings for week nine of the 2017 season were announced Monday morning, and the Broncos maintained their No. 10 ranking after improving their RQS to a 196.700. The improvement came thanks to Boise State's 196.700 – 195.675 victory over Utah State last Thursday night.

The Broncos have been ranked in the top 10 in four of the nine weekly polls so far this season. The Blue and Orange climbed to as high as No. 7 on Feb. 13.

Friday night’s matchup against No. 8 Denver will be one of two meets in the country this week where two top-10 teams will go head to head. No. 5 Utah at No. 7 Georgia will be contested on Saturday night, giving the Broncos and Pioneers the national spotlight on Friday at 7 p.m. in Taco Bell Arena.

Boise State’s three seniors – Paige Urquhart, Diana Mejia and Mackenzie Bennion – will be honored throughout the night. To purchase tickets, click HERE.

LOGAN, Utah Shani Remme continued her dominance in the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference as the league announced her as the recipient of both the Balance Beam and Uneven Bars Specialist of the Week on Monday. Remme has now earned two Uneven Bars Specialist of the Week and five Balance Beam Specialist of the Week awards this season.

The sophomore won both events last Thursday night with 9.9s. Her 9.9 on beam helped the Broncos to a 49.275 in the event, good for the eighth-best beam score in school history.

The performance on beam set up a big score on floor, where Stockwell and Collantes shined with 9.925s to earn Floor Specialist of the Week honors. The 9.925 was a career high for Stockwell and a season high for Collantes.

Boise State ended the night with a 49.300 on the final apparatus, securing the victory over Utah State to improve their conference record to a perfect 4-0.
