The 16th-ranked Boise State gymnastics team hosts Seattle Pacific University, Saturday, March 8 at 6 p.m. in Taco Bell Arena. The meet is the final home competition of the season for the Bronco gymnasts and will also serve as "Senior Night". The event will be run in conjunction with the Bronco wrestling dual against Oregon State, creating the second Beauty and the Beast competition of the season.

Tickets will be available at the door for $6 (Adult) and $4 (Junior/Senior) of free with a Boise State student I.D.

Boise State holds a 50-9 all-time series lead over Seattle Pacific, winning the last 32 meetings. The Broncos topped SPU once already this season, earning a 196.0-192.650 win over the Falcons, Feb. 15.

Following Saturday night's competition, three senior gymnasts and four senior wrestlers will be honored. Gymnasts Kelsey Black, Alessandra Cinfio and Amanda Otuafi will be joined by wrestlers Ben DeMeulle, Jake Swartz, Brian Owen and J.T. Felix in the senior night festivities

Boise State (12-3) enters its ninth week of competition improving to 16th in the GymInfo National Weekly Poll according to regional qualifying scores (RQS). Nationally, the Broncos tie for eighth on the uneven bars, tie for 15th on vault, tie for 16th on floor exercise and are 27th on balance beam this week. The Broncos scored a season-high team total of 196.975 last week in their home meet against Iowa. They hold an RQS of 196.080. 

Juniors Kelsey Morris and Ciera Perkins lead the Broncos with three top-100 individual national rankings this week. Morris ranks 31st in the all-around, 46th on floor and 49th on bars, while Perkins ranks ninth on bars, 20th on floor and 30th on vault. Kelsey Black ranks 65th on bars and 90th on vault, as the only other multiple-event ranked Bronco. Diana Mejia ranks 20th on bars, Amanda Otuafi is 46th on vault, Krystine Jacobsen is 85th on bars and Paige Urquhart is 89th on beam to round out the top-100 ranked Broncos.  

This week's home meet is the final meet of the season in Taco Bell Arena. The Broncos continue their season on the road at Denver (March 15), followed by the Mountain Rim Gymnastic Championship at BYU (March 22).

Seattle Pacific (3-10) sits in 53rd in the GymInfo National Team Rankings this week, holding a 192.585 RQS. The Falcons rank 42nd in the nation on floor, 50th on bars, 54th on vault and 56th on beam. They hold a season-high of 194.575 scored this past weekend at UC Davis.

Maria Hundley is the only Falcon with a top-100 individual national ranking this week, sitting at 98th on vault.

Seattle Pacific is in its ninth week of competition and has a dual against Washington (March 14) to close out its regular season.
