THIS WEEK IN BOISE STATE GYMNASTICS: 
The 17th-ranked Boise State gymnastics team hosts the University of Iowa, Friday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. in Taco Bell Arena. The meet is the fourth of five home meets for the Broncos and will hold the annual “Kid’s Meet” and “Parent’s Meet” events.


TICKETS: 
Tickets will be available at the door for $6 (Adult) and $4 (Junior/Senior) of free with a Boise State student I.D.

ALL-TIME SERIES: 
Boise State and Iowa have faced-off five times in series history with the Broncos holding a 4-1 advantage over the Hawkeyes. The last meeting between the two teams was April 12, 1997.  

BOISE STATE "BRONCOS": 
Boise State (11-3) enters its eighth week of competition moving to 17th in the GymInfo National Weekly Poll after it changed over to regional qualifying scores (RQS) for the rankings this week. The Broncos rank ninth on the uneven bars, 16th on vault, 18th on floor exercise and 25th on balance beam this week. The Broncos have scored a season-high team total of 196.325, done at the Chicago Style Invite, and hold an RQS of 195.865. 

Junior Ciera Perkins continues to lead the Broncos this week ranking 10th in the nation on bars, 17th on floor and 25th on vault. Freshman Diana Mejia was launched into the rankings this week after changing to RQS scores, landing at 18th on bars. Kelsey Morris ranks 27th in the all-around, 44th on floor and 46th on bars. Kelsey Black ranks 76th on bars and 98th on vault, while Amanda Otuafi ranks 46th on vault and Paige Urquhart ranks 71st on beam.

This week's meet at home will be the second of three-straight meets in Taco Bell Arena, as well as the team’s penultimate home meet.

IOWA “HAWKEYES": 
Iowa (1-7) enters the week as the 33rd-ranked team in the country according to the GymInfo National Rankings. The Hawkeyes rank 34th on uneven bars, 36th on floor exercise, 38th on vault and 40th on balance beam this week. They hold a season-high of 195.125 earned this past weekend in a win at home over Illinois-Chicago. Iowa’s RQS is 194.360 this week.

Angel Metcalf leads the Hawkeyes with two national individual rankings, sitting at 80th on the balance beam and 89th on the uneven bars. Sydney Hoerr joins her on bars at 66th, while Mollie Dreuth rounds out the ranked team members at 98th on floor.
