CEDAR CITY, Utah - Boise State's Kelsey Morris and Ciera Perkins have been named the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Gymnast and Specialist of the Week, respectively, as the duo helped the Broncos to a victory over San Jose State on Friday night.

Morris recorded a career-best 39.325 in the all-around and finished in the top three of each individual event en route to the all-around title. The Snohomish, Wash. native scored a 9.800 on vault, a 9.850 on bars, a 9.800 on beam and a 9.875 on floor.

Perkins picked up three individual titles, scoring a 9.900 or higher on all three events, including matching 9.900's on vault and floor and a 9.925 on bars.

The Mountain Rim Gymnastics Championship is a gymnastics-specific alliance among five member schools: Brigham Young University, Boise State University, the University of Denver, Southern Utah University and Utah State University. The alliance is not a formally recognized conference by the NCAA, but is in the process of gaining said status for the 2014-15 season.
