#16 Broncos to Face #8 Oregon State Friday

What's Happening:
The No. 16-ranked Boise State gymnastics team hits the road for their penultimate regular-season road match-up of 2012. The Broncos head West to Corvallis, Ore., to take on No. 8-ranked Oregon State on Friday, February 24 in an 8:00 p.m. (MT) meet at the legendary Gill Coliseum.  

Tickets can be purchased at Gill Coliseum for the price of $12.00 for a reserved seat, or for a general admission ticket, seniors and children pay $5.00, while adults pay $7.00.

All-Time Series:
This will be the 36th meeting between the Broncos and the Beavers, with Oregon State leading the series 34-1, including a 13-meeting win streak. The last time they met was on March 15, 2008 where Oregon State won 197.20-196.575 over the Broncos.  

Boise State "Broncos":
Boise State (6-3) enters the week ranked No. 16 in the nation (195.225), down two spots from last week. This past week the Broncos earned a 195.475 score in a win over San Jose State at home. The Broncos rank No. 4 in the West Region.

The Broncos ranks No. 10 in the nation on vault (49.150), No. 19 on bars (48.713), No. 20 on beam (48.5830) and No. 24 on floor (48.779).

Amy Glass leads the team with four top-100 national rankings. She sits in a tie for No. 34 in the all-around (39.088), while also tying for No. 42 on vault (9.850), ranking No. 15 on beam 9.838, and tying for No. 11 on floor 9.875. Brittany Potvin-Green holds an all-around ranking of No. 61 (tied; 38.90), while also tying for No. 34 on vault (9.863).

Hailey Gaspar holds three top-100 spots, including a No. 51 spot on vault (9.845), No. 77 on beam (9.755) and No. 96 on floor (9.780). Lindsay Kazandjian ranks No. 71 (tied; 9.765) on beam, while Amanda Otuafi ties for No. 98 on vault (9.80).  

Oregon State "Beavers":
Oregon State (7-0-1) enters the week undefeated after finishing their most recent meet (Feb. 17) in a tie with UCLA (196.775). The Beavers sit at No. 8 in the nation (196.383 average), while also ranking No. 2 in the West Region.

The team sits at No. 15 (48.988) as a team on vault, No. 2 (49.25) on bars, No. 7 (48.961) on beam and No. 3 (49.167) on floor.

Leslie Mak leads the team with a No. 9 (39.425) all-around ranking, as well as sitting at No. 4 on bars 9.888), No. 3 on beam (9.908) and No. 21 (tied; 9.850) on floor. Makayla Stambaugh ranks No. 17 in the country in the all-around (39.308), while also ranking No. 85 (tied; 9.813) on vault, No. 9 (tied; 9.867) on bars, No. 91 (tied; 9.738) on beam and No. 8 (tied; 9.892) on floor. Brittany Harris ranks No. 43 in the all-around (39.025), while also sitting in a tie for No. 69 on vault (9.825) and a tie for No. 27 on bars (9.829). Melanie Jones rounds out the Beavers who are ranked in the all-around, sitting at No. 63 (tied; 38.825). She also ranks No. 78 on bars (9.783) and No. 19 on beam (9.858).

Kelsi Blalock holds individual event rankings on vault (tied for No. 58; 9.838) and beam (tied for No. 33; 9.813), while Olivia Vivian ranks on bars (tied for No. 13; 9.863) and beam (tied for No. 60; 9.783).
