Otuafi Named MRGC Specialist of the Week

CEDAR CITY, Utah - Boise State's Amanda Otuafi has been named the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Specialist of the Week for her performances over the weekend.

Otuafi helped the Broncos to a 196.00 finish at Oregon State, capturing the vault title with a 9.925 en route to her second Specialist of the Week honor. She also appeared on floor, scoring a 9.850 for a top-six finish on the event.

The University of Denver's Moriah Martin was named the MRGC Gymnast of the week for the third time this season. 

The Mountain Rim Gymnastics Championship is a gymnastics-specific alliance among five member schools: Brigham Young University, Boise State University, the University of Denver, Southern Utah University and Utah State University. The alliance is not a formally recognize conference by the NCAA, but is in the process of gaining said status for the 2014-15 season.
