MEET INFO The No. 15 Broncos will face MRGC rival Utah State in a conference dual meet on Friday, Feb. 16 at 7 p.m. MT at Taco Bell Arena. The meet is the team's annual "Pink Meet," where the Broncos will support cancer awareness. Fans that wear pink to support cancer awareness will get a half-price ticket at the door. It is also the alumni meet, so we will be recognizing Bronco gymnastics alumni.

SERIES HISTORY The Broncos are 43-55 all-time against the Aggies in gymnastics, but have won the last 16 meetings between the two squads. The Broncos traveled to Utah State on Feb. 2, 2018 and won the conference dual match by a score of 196.625 to 195.150. The Broncos' score of 196.625 is the highest they have had all season. The Aggies come to Boise after defeating another conference opponent, Southern Utah by a score of 195.275 to 195.200 on the road in Cedar City, Utah on Monday, Feb. 12.

LAST TIME OUT The Broncos beat their second ranked opponent of the season as they defeated No. 23 Iowa State as part of a tri-meet at San Jose State on Friday, Feb. 9. The Broncos collected a team score of 196.400 to Iowa State's 195.725 and host San Jose State's 194.500. The Broncos are undefeated on the season, 8-0 overall and 3-0 in MRGC competiton. Junior Shani Remme won the all-around competiton with a score of 39.425, and also won the floor competiton with a score of 9.925, tying her career-high mark. Redshirt senior Mary Frances Bir won the vault competition with a score of 9.925.

CONFERENCE HONORS For the fifth-straight week, Shani Remme was name MRGC Gymnast of the Week after having the highest all-around mark in the conference. She also earned MRGC Floor Specialist of the Week after scoring a conference-high 9.925 on the event. Bir won MRGC Vault Specialist of the Week with a 9.925 on the event, while senior Ann Stockwell was named MRGC Bars Specialist of the Week with a score of 9.875 on the event. For Stockwell it was her first weekly honor on any event this season, while Bir has won the last three-straight vault weekly honors.

BRONCO CAPTAINS Seniors Sandra Collantes and Ann Stockwell have been tabbed as team captains for the 2017-18 season.

RETURNERS The Broncos return a wealth of experience from a 2017 squad that brought home the program's third-straight MRGC title. The 11 returners are headlined by 2017 MRGC Gymnast of the Year Shani Remme, who finished ninth individually in the first semifinal at the 2017 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships, setting the highest all-around score at nationals in Boise State history (39.3625). In addition to Remme, the Broncos return six additional gymnasts that earned All-MRGC First Team honors in 2017, Sarah Means, Courtney McGregor, Mary Frances Bir, Sandra Collantes, Alex Esmerian and Abby Webb. Overall the Broncos return seven of eight all-conference honorees from last season. For the 11th-straight season the Broncos are under the direction of co-head coaches Tina Bird and Neil Resnick, the 2017 MRGC Coaches of the Year and the 2017 NACGC/W West Region Co-Head Coaches of the Year.

BACK-TO-BACK-TO-BACK The Broncos are coming off their third-straight MRGC title in 2017, and advanced to the NCAA Regionals for the 10th-straight season. Other record-breaking moments from 2017 include; first time recording four team scores over 197 in a single season, with the highest team score in school history (197.675).
