The Road To Nationals team rankings for week six of the 2017 season were announced Monday morning and the Broncos moved up another spot to No. 7. Last week’s No. 8 ranking was previously the highest weekly ranking in program history, but Boise State was able to hop Michigan this week to reset the record.

Boise State’s team score average improved to 196.405 after earning a 197.075 on Friday night at Denver – good for the second-highest team score in school history. The Blue and Orange are once again the only school not from a Power Five Conference to make this week’s top 10.

LOGAN, Utah – The Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference announced their weekly award winners Monday morning and the team’s two sophomores – Shani Remme and Sarah Means – earned recognition for their performances this past weekend. Remme secured MRGC Co-Gymnast of the Week and Balance Beam Specialist of the Week honors while Means was named the Vault Specialist of the Week.

Remme earned the same two accolades last week and was sensational as an all-arounder yet again. The Loomis, Calif., native garnered a 9.825 on bars, a season-high 9.85 on vault, a season-high 9.875 on floor and tied a career-high on balance beam with a 9.925.

Remme is tied for 13th in the country on beam with a 9.870 average and 21st in the all-around (39.306 avg.)

Means’ Yurchenko one and a half earned her a 9.9 on Friday night to give her a share of the vault title.  The 9.9 is a career high and gives the Las Vegas, Nevada native her second MRGC Vault Specialist of the Week honor of the season.

The Broncos will compete at Utah State in Logan, Utah on Friday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m.
