Otuafi Named WAC Specialist of the Week
BOISE, Idaho - Boise State's Amanda Otuafi has been named the Western Athletic Conference Specialist of the Week of the Week for the week of Jan. Feb. 4-10. The honor is the first for any Bronco this season.

Otuafi, a junior from Sparks, Nev. (Reed HS), scored a career-best 9.925 on floor in a dual meet against Southeast Missouri to claim a share of the title with teammate Kelsey Black. Otuafi also won a share of the vault title with a 9.875. Both event titles were the third of her career in each event.

The junior helped the Broncos earn season-high scores of 49.325 on vault and 49.50 as a team on floor.

Denver's Moriah Martin, a junior from Lake Mary, Fla. (Lake Mary HS), was named WAC Gymnast of the week after she combined for a WAC season-best 39.375 on her way to winning her first all-around title of the season.
