THIS WEEK IN BOISE STATE GYMNASTICS:

The 15th-ranked Boise State gymnastics team hosts its second of five home meets Jan. 24, welcoming Southern Utah to Taco Bell Arena, for a 7 p.m. meet.

MEET PROMOTIONS: 
Social Media Day – a ticket promotion will be put on all Boise State social media outlets and if printed/presented at the door on the day of the meet, fans will receive a $3 ticket.

Orange Out - Fans are encouraged to WEAR ORANGE for the Bronco Orange Out.

TICKETS: 
Tickets will be available at the door for $6 (adults), $4 (seniors/juniors) and for free with Boise State student ID. If fans present a printed or electronic version of the social media promotion at the door, they can receive a $3 ticket.

ALL-TIME SERIES: 
Boise State and Southern Utah meet for the second time this season with Boise State holding an all-time series lead of 29-20. The Broncos have won the last four meetings including Jan. 11 where they topped the Thunderbirds 195.850-192.025.

BOISE STATE "BRONCOS": 
Boise State (4-1) enters its third week of the season ranking 15th in the GymInfo National Weekly Poll. The Broncos also hold top-25 spots as a team on individual events, ranking 11th on vault, 10th on the uneven bars, 28th on the balance beam and tied for 19th on floor exercise.    

Individually, eight Broncos hold top-100 rankings in their respective events. Ciera Perkins holds three rankings, sitting at 18th on bars, 36th on floor and 58th on vault.
Kelsey Morris leads the team in all-around rankings sitting in 44th, while also ranking 45th on bars. Maddie Krentz ranks 98th in the all-around, as well as 83rd on vault, while Kelsey Black holds a 68th spot on vault and ranks 90th on bars. Amanda Otuafi leads the team on vault ranking 38th, Diana Mejia ranks 45th on bars, Marissa Wossner ranks 37th on beam and Paige Urquhart ranks 56th on beam to round out the ranked Broncos.

This week's meet against Southern Utah is the second of five home meets for the Broncos this season. Additional home meet dates include Feb. 21, Feb. 28 and March 8 all at Taco Bell Arena. 

SOUTHERN UTAH “THUNDERBIRDS": 
Southern Utah (0-4) enters its third meet of the season ranked 41st in the nation. They hold an 18th ranking on vault, 51st on bars, tie for 31st on beam and are 51st on floor as a team. The Thunderbirds placed fourth at the Utah quadrangular which included Boise State, Jan. 11, while also falling 194.50-193.975 to Utah State, Jan. 17, earning their season-high score thus far.

Seven Thunderbirds hold national top-100 rankings including Alyssa Click who ranks 46th on beam and 96th on bars. Danielle Ramirez holds the team’s highest ranking, sitting in 11th on vault. Virginia Brownsell and Rochelle Bernier join her in the vault rankings, sitting at 42nd and 93rd, respectively. Jamie Armijo ranks 76th on bars, while Tyly Bozzoto ranks 70th on beam and Carly Sigler is 60th on floor to round out the ranked Thunderbirds.
