Glass, Redmon Garner WAC Athlete of the Week Honors

DENVER - Boise State's Amy Glass and Hannah Redmon have been named the Verizon Western Athletic Conference Gymnast of the Week and Specialist of the Week, respectively, for the week of Jan. 10-16.

Glass, a junior from Vacaville, Calif. (Will C. Wood HS) won the all-around, vault and beam at the Washington Quadrangular this past weekend. Glass scored a 39.325 to win the all-around, just .025 short of her career best. She also won on vault with a 9.875 and on beam with a 9.850. Glass also placed second on floor with a 9.850. The all-around win is her sixth career win in the event, moving her to a tie for the sixth in all-time career all-around wins at Boise State.

Redmon, a senior from Sparks, Nevada (Reed HS) won the floor exercise title at the Washington Quadrangular in Seattle for her 17th career win in the event.  Redmon scored a 9.875 to win the event title, which ties her for the school record in career wins on floor at Boise State.
