Bronco Gymnastics Tops 2010 WAC Preseason Coaches' Poll

DENVER - The Western Athletic Conference announced its 2010 preseason gymnastics coaches' poll, as voted on by the six head coaches in the league. Boise State was selected as the favorite to win this year's WAC title, earning the top spot with 24 points. 

Boise State, the 2008 and 2009 WAC champion, received four first place votes for its 24-point total. Southern Utah garnered two first place votes, but ended up just two points short of BSU with 22 points. San Jose State captured the third spot with 17 points. Sacramento State finished fourth in the poll with 12 points, while Cal State Fullerton placed fifth with eight points. Utah State was selected sixth with seven points. 

The 2010 Western Athletic Conference gymnastics championship will take place at Titan Gym in Fullerton, Calif. on Saturday, March 27.
