BOISE, Idaho -- The No. 15 Broncos scored the highest team total of the season, 196.875 in en route to defeat Utah State on Friday evening at Taco Bell Arena.

The Broncos (9-0, 4-0 MRGC) were led by Courtney McGregor, who won the all-around with a score of 39.500, a career-high for sophomore. McGregor also won the bars meet title with a 9.900 on the event and the vault meet title with a 9.900.

On the meet, co-head coach Neil Resnick, said, "Good result tonight, but we need to build off this and continue to get better as the season progresses."

Junior Shani Remme was also outstanding on the day, finishing second in the all-around with a score of 39.450. Remme set a new career high and tied the school record on floor with an impressive 9.50 score. She also tied for first on bars with McGregor with a 9.900.

The Broncos put up a season-high 49.475 on floor, led by Remme's 9.5, but equally as impressive was a 9.900 by redshirt junior Alex Esmerian in her first collegiate floor routine. McGregor came through with a 9.825, while senior Sandra Collantes scored a 9.875.

On vault the Broncos were led by McGregor's 9.900, but Ann Stockwell also impressed with a 9.875.

On beam the Broncos were led by junior Sarah Means' 9.850, en route to a team score of 49.00. McGregor scored a 9.825 on the event, while Remme had a 9.800.

On bars the Broncos were led by McGregor and Remme with 9.900 apiece, but Stockwell finished with a 9.850.

Utah State finished with a total score of 194.900 and were led by Autumn DeHarde who won the balance beam competition with a score of 9.925.

The Broncos will head back out on the road next week, visiting BYU on Friday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. MT.
