Patty Jo Resnick enters her 11th season as an assistant coach for the Broncos. Resnick's main duties with the Broncos include choreography of each gymnast's routines on balance beam and floor exercise, along with coaching those events.

The recent success of the 2017 season has been remarkable, as Resnick helped Boise State accomplish several different milestones: a third-straight MRGC team title, four team scores over 197 (the first time in program history) and the highest team score (197.675) in program history. The team climbed to as high as No. 7 in the weekly national rankings – good for the highest in program history.

The program also enjoyed a major NCAA Regional breakthrough, as well, earning a No. 2 seed at the Lincoln Regional. The final record of 15-6 also included a perfect home record for the fifth-straight year. Eventually, the Broncos’ final RQS of 196.910 was also the highest ever in program history.

Resnick is known as one of the nation's most talented and creative floor and beam choreographers. Her attention to detail and knowledge of technique help gymnasts perfect their skills and routines. She was honored by USA Gymnastics as a Master of Sport in 2014.

Prior to Boise State, Resnick worked alongside her husband, Neil, running Flips USA Gymnastics, a club team in Sparks, Nev. In addition, she has served as a USAG clinician at the national training center and has choreographed routines for top gymnasts throughout the country. She also helped with the Junior Olympics for several years at the US Olympic training facility.
