Broncos Head South for Lamkin Grip Cal Poly Women's Invitational November 2-4?
  • What’s Happening: Boise State heads to Arroyo Grande, Calif., to participate in the 2008 Lamkin Grip Cal Poly Women’s Invitational held Sunday through Tuesday, Nov. 2-4, at the Cypress Ridge Golf Course. The tournament will be the final competition in the Bronco women’s 2008 fall schedule.


  • The Broncos’ Tournament Roster: Five Broncos will participate, including: Mandi Hedberg, a senior, who will lead off for Boise State, followed by junior Minhee Park, senior Lindsey Shean, junior Iris Ocariza and round out with freshman Katie Somers.  

  • The Tournament: The tournament will consist of three rounds and 36 holes featuring 17 teams and approximately 85 players. The first round will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday (shotgun start), followed by an 11:30 a.m. start on Monday and ending with an 8:30 a.m. start time on Tuesday.


  • The Course: The tournament is being held at the Cypress Ridge Golf Course in Arroyo Grande, Calif. For this tournament, the course is a par 73 and covers 5,969 yards. For more information on the course check out the course website:

  • The Field: The 17-team field includes: Boise State University and San Jose State University from the Western Athletic Conference; Idaho State University, Sacramento State, Weber State and Northern Arizona from the Big Sky Conference; Cal Poly, University of California-Riverside and Cal State-Northridge from the Big West Conference; the University of Portland, Santa Clara and Gonzaga University from the West Coast Conference; Xavier (Ohio) from the Atlantic 10 Conference; Bradley University from the Missouri Valley Conference; Southern Utah University from The Summit League; and two independents, Utah Valley University and Cal State-Bakersfield.
