MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Boise State women’s golf team concluded its fall season with a ninth-place finish at the Memphis Fall Invitational, Tuesday. Junior Hayley Young and sophomore Jenna Leurquin each posted top-25 finishes to lead the Broncos.

The tournament was delayed due to fog Monday, forcing the teams to conclude their second rounds Tuesday morning.

Young carded a 233 (+20) to finish tied for 19th, her third top-25 finish in four fall season tournaments. Young now has 10 career top-25 finishes, tied for ninth-most in school history.

Leurquin ascended the leaderboard following a final-round 76 (+5), finishing in a tie for 23rd. The effort marked her first-career top-25 finish.

The Broncos posted a team score of 947 (+95), once again saving their lowest round of the tournament for the last day (314).

Rounding out the scoring for Boise State were junior Lori Harper (238 (+25), senior Maria Santisteban (243, +30) and redshirt junior Michelle Gooding (252, +39).

The Broncos will continue their 2011-12 season next spring, beginning March 12-13 at the Fresno State Lexus Classic.
