Broncos Finish Price's Invitational in Fifth Place

LAS CRUCES, N.M. At the conclusion of the three-day Price’s “Give’ Em Five” Intercollegiate Invitational, hosted by New Mexico State, the Boise State University women’s golf team finished tied for fifth place. 

 

After shooting 299 (+11), in rounds one and two the Broncos fired a 315 (+27) on the par-72, 6,319 yard New Mexico State University golf course, Wednesday to fall into a tie fifth (913, +49) after having sole possession of third place through two rounds.

 

The Broncos placed two golfers in the top 20 at the tournament including sophomore Mandi Hedberg with a 9-over par, 225 and senior Katie Street who shot a 227 (+11) for the tournament.

 

Fellow Boise State golfers placing in the tournament where Lindsey Huebert who tied for 30th with a 230 (+14), Iris Ocariza came in tied for 46th with a 234 (+18) and Lindsey Shean tied for 69th, 240 (+24).

 

The Broncos will continue their season Oct. 24 25 in Honolulu, Hawaii, at the Kent Youel Invitational.
