Boise, Idaho - The Boise State University women’s golf team is tied for fifth place with a 331 (+43) after one round of the 2007 Bronco Fall Invitational.

Mandi Hedberg and Iris Ocariza led the Broncos in scoring as both collected an 82 (+10) to tie for 18th place.

Kansas State leads the tournament with 23-over par 311. BYU’s Ashley Childers and Kansas State’s Michelle Regan are tied for first with a 4-over 76.

The teams battled frost and high winds for the early part of the morning at the par 72, 6,193-yard Falcon Crest Golf Club in Kuna, Idaho. The tee off was delayed for an hour because of frost Monday morning and Tuesday’s tee times have been pushed back 30 minutes to 8:30 a.m. (MT).
