Bronco Women Travel to Las Cruces
BOISE – Fresh off its best performance in nearly four years, the Boise State women’s golf team will look to continue its early-season success at the Price’s “Give ‘Em Five” Invitational in Las Cruces, N.M., Oct. 8-10.

The three-day tournament is hosted by New Mexico State, and will be held at the par-72, 6,319-yard NMSU Golf Course. The teams will play 18 holes each day, beginning with an 8:30 a.m. (MT) shotgun start.

Joining the Broncos and Aggies in the 13-team field are BYU, Cincinnati, Colorado State, Idaho, Kansas, Nebraska, Nevada, North Texas, Utah Valley, UTEP and Washington State.

Boise State is coming off of a fourth-place finish at the Rose City Collegiate, the team’s best effort since tying for first at the 2008 Bronco Fall Invitational.

Seniors Hayley Young and Lori Harper will be joined by freshmen Samantha Martin, Sammie Pless and McKenzie Ford at this week’s tournament.

Golfstat recently ranked the Broncos’ freshmen trio seventh-nationally in its Freshman Class Impact Rankings.
