Broomfield, Colo.- On a day that saw high winds effect the scores for everyone in the tournament, two members of the Boise State University women’s golf team posted scores worthy of a top 15 finish.
Katie Street followed up her second round score of 73, with a 75 in the final round to register a 226(+10) for the tournament and capture a tie for seventh place. It is the highest individual finish for a Bronco during this young Fall season.
Freshman, Iris Ocariza was the other member of the team to post a top 15 finish, as she tied for 14th with her score of 229(+13). This is the best finish for Ocariza as a member of the Broncos.
As a team Boise State finished eighth in the 17 team field, with a score of 931 over the two days of competition.
The high winds affected the scores in a way that the average round for the day was an 80, about three strokes higher than it had been in the first two rounds.
