Broomfield, Colo.- Through two rounds of the Colorado University Heather Farr Memorial Invitational, Iris Ocariza, freshman, paces the Boise State University women’s golf team with a 5-over, 149. In her second tournament of her career Ocariza shot a 74 in round one and a 75 in the second round to end the day tied for ninth.
Sitting just two strokes back of Ocariza is senior Katie Street who posted a 151(+7) on the first day of competition. After registering a score of 78(+6) in the opening round, Street responded with a 1-over par, 73, to vault herself into contention for a top five finish.
As a team, the Broncos are currently tied for eighth with Portland State University after posting a score of 611 through two rounds.
