Women's Golf Set for Rose City Collegiate

BOISE, Idaho - The Boise State women's golf team will travel to Aurora, Ore., to compete in the fourth annual Rose City Collegiate, Sept. 30-Oct. 1.

The tournament, hosted by Portland State, will be played at the par-72, 6,080-yard Langdon Farms Golf Club, and will consist of three rounds. The schools will play 36 holes Monday, beginning with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. (MT). Tuesday's final round will begin with tee times off both the front and back nines at 9 a.m. (MT).

Joining the Broncos and Vikings in the 15-school field will be: Cal Poly, Cal State Fullerton, Eastern Washington, Gonzaga, Montana, Northern Colorado, Oregon State, Sacramento State, San Francisco, Seattle, UC Irvine, Washington State and Weber State.

The Broncos have played in each of the three previous versions of the Rose City Collegiate, improving their finish each season. Boise State finished eighth in 2010, tied for sixth in 2011 and finished fourth last season.

The women opened their 2013-14 season with a second-place finish at the Bronco Fall Invitational (Sept. 16-17), shattering the school's three-round scoring record in the process. Boise State carded a three-round total of 882 (291-296-295, +18), which bested the previous mark by 11 strokes.
