AURORA, Ore. – The Boise State women’s golf team is in sixth place after the first two rounds of the 14-team Rose City Collegiate Monday, led by juniors Lori Harper and Hayley Young.

Young and Harper are each tied for 10th place with two-round totals of 152 (+8), following damp conditions during round one and strong winds in the second round at the par-72, 6,080-yard Langdon Farms Golf Club.

The duo is only two strokes back of third place, and has the Broncos in sixth place as a team. Boise State recorded a two-round total of 627 (+51), and will enter Tuesday’s final round just eight strokes back of the top three.

Sophomore Jenna Leurquin is tied for 31st with a 36-hole total of 158 (+57), and senior Maria Santisteban and redshirt junior Michelle Gooding are each tied for 60th with scores of 166 (+65).
