This is the second-consecutive year that the Broncos have participated in this event placing fifth out of 11 teams at last year’s cup competition. This is the first of four tournaments that Boise State will compete in during the fall portion of the 2009-10 season.

In addition to those four are Eastern Washington, Gonzaga, Montana, Montana State, Oregon State, Portland State, Sacramento State, Seattle, Washington State and Weber State. Over the next three days there will be over 70 individuals competing for their respective teams, including six from Boise State.

► Boise State’s Tournament Roster
The Boise State lineup for the Inland Cup has a new look compared to last season with two returning letterwinners on the roster along with four newcomers. Leading the way at the number one position is freshman Hayley Young from Honolulu, Hawaii. She is joined by classmate Lori Harper (Manhatten Beach, Calif.) at the second position. They are followed by this year’s seniors in Iris Ocariza (Honolulu, Hawaii) and Minhee Park (Tieton, Wash.) at the three and four spots respectively. The duo has a combined 49 tournament appearances over the last three seasons. Ocariza played in all 10 events last season and has 31 total competitions to her resume, she averages 77.6 strokes per round. Park averages 83.2 strokes per round and has played in 18 career events including nine last year. Rounding out the Broncos’ team roster for this event is freshman Jennifer Henningsson from Ingaro, Sweden. The sixth Bronco making the trip and playing as an individual competitor is Emma Dahlqvist (Jonkoping, Sweden) the fourth freshman on the squad. Overall, the experience for this year’s WSU Inland Cup lies with the two seniors while the other four Broncos will get their first taste of collegiate competition.
