Corvallis, Ore.-- The Boise State University women’s golf team opened their Fall schedule with two rounds on the opening day of the Salbasgeon Suites Invitational.

 

The tournament featured 17 teams including Western Athletic Conference opponents Fresno State and the University of Nevada.

 

Senior Lindsey Huebert posted the best two round score of the day for the Broncos shooting 78 and a team best 72 for a combined score of 150 (+6).  She currently trails the leader from the University of Denver by eight strokes heading into the final day of competition.

 

Fellow senior Katie Street posted a two round score of 152 (75 and 77) to remain within ten strokes of the lead.

 

The Broncos posted a combined team score of 614 in the two rounds of golf played Monday to remain within six shots of tenth place and 12 shots of third place. 

 

The Salbasgeon Suites Invitational will conclude Tuesday with 18 holes beginning at 7:30 a.m.
