Women's Golf Takes Down College of Idaho

WILDER, Idaho - The Boise State women's golf team defeated the College of Idaho, 299-310 at the par-72 River Bend Golf Course, Friday.

 

Senior Maria Santisteban and junior Hayley Young finished in a tie for first, carding an even-par 72.

Jenna Leurquin and Katie Sorners submitted the Broncos' final two counting scores, posting rounds of 75 and 80, respectively.

The Boise State squad was rounded out by Lori Harper who tallied an 81.

Michelle Gooding, Emma Dahlqvist and Jennifer Henningsson each competed as individuals, finishing at 75, 83 and 85, respectively.

The women's team will be back in action at Rose City Collegiate, Sept. 26-27 in Aurora, Ore.
